The Spoken Words of Spirit--October 21, 2011

Centering yourself with all of your emotions is a good thing to do. When you have mastered the technique of staying in balance, regardless of what is happening, you will make decisions that are much more positive and coherent. Whether you are dealing with something that is angering, depressing, or the polar opposite, remaining in control of your attitude will be richly rewarding. The ups and downs that most people go through during their existence can be grueling.

Since you are all spectacular human beings, only awaiting the experiences that will shape your physical soul-level self, why not do it while feeling in control? We (Spirit) will never tell you not to be excited by your successes because that generally breeds more of a desire to repeat them. However, when you overreact to things, you will put yourself at a disadvantage. If you are responding to something that went wrong; throwing tantrums or over emoting; the reality is that you are putting the universe on notice. ‘Why does this always happen to me?’ is usually a phrase used for situations that are not good, thusly, you are casting out the message that nothing will ever go right.

You are always better off tempering your emotions. It affords you the constant opportunity to adjust to what can be a rewarding and demanding lifetime. When things are going well for you, there will still be room for more of it. You must always have the concept that the good will overcome or overrun the bad. When something goes awry and you react without being distraught, then you are messaging the energy world around you that a simple dismissal of the less worthy aspects of life is what they’ll get. That way, you are the one who stays in control and power over your journey.

It is recognized that this lesson may be a little confusing. Our hope and expectations are that you can absorb it for its highest purpose; to let the words ruminate more deeply. By doing so, your guides and loved ones will help bring the best of all things to you. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
