The Spoken Words of Spirit--August 6, 2012

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt well after the fact--or maybe immediately afterwards--that you should have responded or done something differently? As humans, there are times when we inadvertently get caught up in our own needs; forgetting that our help or efforts might have made a big difference to someone else. We race against the clock all the time. Instead of stopping at the scene of an accident, you have thoughts that range from “somebody else will stop” to “I’ll be late for my appointment.” You could see someone struggling to weed their garden and find an excuse to ignore the fact that even a couple of minutes of your time would make a difference.

What if you stopped at that accident and did nothing more than show someone some support? You could have changed an emotionally overwhelming situation to one where they would remember the kind person who stopped to check on them; to console them or to save their life. What if the person doing the weeding was only doing it because no one else would help them or that they were having health, financial or some other problem that allowed it to get out of hand? You could have made much more of a difference than yanking up a few weeds. You could have actually been weeding out some sadness and replacing it with a sense of relief.

Living on a physical plain is not easy. It requires judgment calls be made all the time. A physical existence is an opportunity for you, your soul and all those you impact to learn from in each and every aspect that is offered. Every chance to meet someone will change your life on some level. The fact is that most people will never know how loved they are or where their next friend lies because the world has become a place of fear. Unlike in the days that were simpler, when there was not an overload of abundance in negativity being panned across every television, radio or technology gadget, the world today is focused on the evils of others. While this is reasonable, based on what your brains are bombarded with, the reality is that the majority of humans are still an amazing bunch.

We would tell you to trust your intuitiveness when coming across each situation. Allow yourselves to be guided by the angels that are always assisting you. As long as you do this, you will not be steered incorrectly. Love will expand and peace will fill your soul and the hearts of many other people you may have tried to avoid out of baseless fear. Your judgment is always stronger when you know that the power of your actions are always protected by the love that comes from the other side. Expand the world in ways that will always make you proud and quell the need for second-guessing yourself. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
