The Spoken Words of Spirit--June 8, 2010

Some words mean much more then it might appear on the surface. Often, the translation has more to do with the attitude or tone attached to the voice that speaks them. When you are talking to people, it is important to remember that your approach can be healing or hurtful. Likewise, the reverse is true too. (People speaking to you) With that said, it seems relevant that we tell you that you should monitor the use of your emotions when in conversation, no matter how heated or loving it is. It will always be better to err on the side of caution and compassion so that you do not cause unintended harm.

Language is one of the greatest and most complicated tools we have on earth. It can create wars, both personally and globally, as well as to have someone feel loved and worthy beyond belief. From a spiritual standpoint, the latter is certainly preferred. Just as we try to express our thoughts in the most loving way possible, we ask that you do the same. However, it must start in how you speak to yourself, about yourself. Your mere mental chatter can be a cause for many personal insecurities that would not be available if you repeated more positive comments about who you are. It is time to set aside any anger you have towards yourself, or any shortcomings you think exists. Use the words, “I love you” when looking at yourself in a mirror or the reflection within your mind.

We are sharing these words because we want you to feel viable in a world that may seem to be overwhelming in size. Our intent is to make the world seem more friendly and a warmer place to exist. All we want is for each of you to do your part in making this happen. It must start with the love you have for yourself, then spiral it out to your closest loved ones. After that, speaking with love in your heart to your friends, co-workers and acquaintances will extend their blessed feelings to others. Basically, the one on one approach to doing things in a loving or compassionate way will ultimately traverse the world. Yes, you are that powerful!

Today, begin the journey by saying one nice thing to yourself about who you are each hour. While some might think this would be conceited, the actual outcome that you will incur is to become more confident. When your self worth and esteem are elevated, you start to feel virtually invincible in accomplishing anything you want. And what is wrong with that? These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

"Language is one of the greatest and most complicated tools we have on earth. It can create wars, both personally and globally, as well as to have someone feel loved and worthy beyond belief." This is so true. Words do have a very profound and lasting effect. Whether something is said in a very nasty and ugly manner, or a sweet and loving way, it can change the course of your life and or relationships.

Thank you for another great message Jim, as always.

I agree, Jim. I always find myself needing to read the blog to know what is being commented on. It almost always has a different meaning to me than when I first receive it.

Mary and Diane, someone just said to give you some extra love and blessings.
