If all people had forgiving hearts, then it is safe to say that the world would become a place filled with satisfaction. On a global plane, there would be much less rancor and strife and more of an acceptance of each other; including the differences people may have in their attitudes towards each other. Love and tolerance would grow, thereby making the need for war to be non-existent. Communication would improve and violence would decrease.
From a personal standpoint; being able to forgive someone for their indiscretions and the hurt they may have caused you is a valuable tool in your survival skills as a loving being. If you cannot merge your thoughts with a release of anger, then the only outcome for you is to continue harboring the pain. This ends up coming out in your own attitude towards life, as well as towards people who do not deserve to be ridiculed. Sarcasm, if not meant in truly humorous ways, ends up being more of a reflection of your own negative personality. This is part of what comes from not being able to forgive and release.
There is one other area that needs to be discussed here. If you cannot forgive yourself from the bondage of your own past mistakes and failures, then how do you expect to move forward with the love you should have? By not releasing mistakes, you become a prisoner of your own actions. It becomes harder for you to grow and expand to be the person you want to be. You subconsciously sabotage your behavior by repeating the same mistakes, or opening yourself up to ridicule for your actions. Eventually, your mind will struggle with your ability to release any negativity, as though you think it is better to punish yourself for something from the past.
In order to be content in life, you must be able to apologize and make restitution to anyone you hurt, but also to your own self and soul. You belong on this planet! You should be living your life as though you are enjoying it and not simply enduring it. Ask your Higher Self to release the pains and guilt that may be holding you back. Ask for love to filter out the anger and disappointment. Embrace the idea that you are entitled to live in a way that reforms your level of happiness to be much more positive and higher. Know that the Kingdom of Light will always shine their guidance on you. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

"By not releasing mistakes, you become a prisoner of your own actions. It becomes harder for you to grow and expand to be the person you want to be." You can definitely become stuck in neutral and not even be able to see the future when you are constantly revisiting your past mistakes.
"In order to be content in life, you must be able to apologize and make restitution to anyone you hurt, but also to your own self and soul." Sometimes it is easier to forgive others than yourself and often times forget that we have to include ourselves in the forgiveness.
"Ask your Higher Self to release the pains and guilt that may be holding you back. Ask for love to filter out the anger and disappointment." Do so even if you don't think you are doing it because many times we don't even realize that we are.
Thanks again for these wonderful words which encourage such self reflection...OX

Thanks Jim,
My angel.
God Bless :-)**
I love your posts JIM!!
"You should be living your life as though you are enjoying it and not simply enduring it"....
I can attest to all that you have said is true. I am living proof that after forgiveness of past doings and forgiveness of those that hurt me and my loved ones, I was set free to live the life I was intended. It wasn't until then that I was able to enjoy life wholeheartedly.
"By bringing the past into your present mind, you are not living in the true present" ~ Jeni
Also: To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover the prisoner was you.
This message came through much faster for me than most of them. I really appreciate all of you for taking the time to read and comment.
While I love every message from Spirit, this is one of the best. I love it! "From a personal standpoint; being able to forgive someone for their indiscretions and the hurt they may have caused you is a valuable tool in your survival skills as a loving being."
Thank you Jim, as always...
