Appreciation of what you have in life is often the catalyst for happiness. Even those who may seem to have little in the sense of material possessions, can live life in such a way that they are grateful for what they do have. Their life in and of itself may be valued in a manner that you might think they are being silly. Yet, for those who live impoverished; for those who live in war-torn countries, their ability to be thankful for what is still intact for them speaks volumes about their souls.
People who are more centered on the sheer joy of living their life for what it is now, and for what they envision in the way of future contentment, are much more likely to be joyful in their hearts. Naturally, this sounds as though it goes against the grain of rational thinking for most of you. However, it is the divine presence that is felt deeply that makes them harmonize. At no point do we wish to tell you that living in poverty is a spiritual blessing. The human race was not designed to be a struggling creature, but the lessons of the soul may make this necessary. The other side of this is that it also gives many reasons for those who are lagging behind in certain areas the desire to scratch and fight their way out of the patterns of “lack” that were probably given to them by their caregivers.
This week, take some time to look around you at the needs and plights of others. Is there anything you can do to help them? Simply acknowledging them is often enough to reassure them that they are not as abandoned as they may feel. If you can do more, what are you waiting for? There is a pride factor involved too. Frequently, people in need--whether monetarily, emotionally, physically and so forth--feel either embarrassed, ashamed or too proud to want to willingly request some assistance. While this thinking is most likely understood by the masses, it is also one of the reasons that humans who are “stuck” cannot improve. Our point is that sometimes you have to be much more proactive in GIVING your help, and not just asking if they want some.
This is your time to step up and start making a difference in the world, one person at a time. From the Light, we do not care if you are paying their bills, driving them to a store, helping them to cross the street, reading to them or standing side by side to help right the injustices that can take place. No matter what your current situation is, giving help to your fellow brethren is doable. Be someone’s angel today by putting aside the excuses of fear, pompousness, pain, and your own struggles. By “paying forward” you open many new doors of positive possibilities for yourself! Live with the protection and guidance of The Spoken Words of Spirit.

Thank you Jim, as always. xo
Just a quick thanks to both of you!
