The Spoken Words of Spirit--September 7, 2011

What is the value of a human life? Is it something you can put a monetary amount on, or perhaps label it with how good a person they are? Spirit sees the true worth of a person by their actions throughout their lifetime, as well as what is in their heart and soul during their journey. In reality, it makes no difference if you are Spanish, Italian, Russian, Jewish, Indian, and so forth. The soul is the mainstay of all humans, therefore, as you develop yourself, all of the facets of your choices is what makes you indispensable. Your value is the worth you place on it by your accomplishments and actions towards others.

Will you stop to help someone if you saw them stranded, or would you wait for someone else to assist? What if it was you who got stuck on the side of the road? Would you reach out for help, or restrict your thoughts to the fear that if someone offers you some aid that they are probably looking to mug you? Some of you would not stop in the first scenario for the same reason. There has become such a negative mindset and attitude towards your fellow man or woman that it festers an unrealistic attitude of fear instead of approval and compassion. While you think about this, think about all of the other people who are in the same mode. If everyone thought in this context or with this concept, then most of the world would come to a crashing halt. Why has it become easier to trust people on the opposite end of a computer connection than to trust someone who pulls up and offers to give you a lift or to call someone who can fix your problem?

We have asked all of those questions because there is a growing problem of wariness and segregation of sorts. People are becoming so polarized in their thinking that they begin to distrust everyone. On occasion, this is a fair assessment, but by and large, it is unnecessary and uncalled for. All people are born good. It is their life experiences and guidance that molds them. This is true of good or bad actions; of good or bad natures. That is why your guardians in the Light are always trying to get you to take charge of your own demeanor and what is important to you. Nobody can be blamed for your failures, nor can anyone take away your successes when you are an adult, simply because you control your destiny.

As you explore your options, make sure you begin to incubate positive expectations of people. View them in your mind’s eye as though they are all friends and safe. Obviously, there still needs to be a sense of reality, depending on the situation. We are referring to this in your everyday opportunities. Mental exercises will create physical adjustments and rewards. There is no harm in programming thoughts of optimism, love, hope and honor into your subconscious. If more people did that, then the globe would be full of citizens who are looking to improve the world and not destroy it. The earth would then be returned to the state of perfect harmony that it was designed to have by the Creator. You must do your part by expecting the best of yourself and offering a helping hand when you can see it is needed. You do not always have to wait to be called upon. Step up and change one persons’ luck and you actually help change the vibration of the world! These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
