The Spoken Words of Spirit--July 30, 2012

We all have competitive traits within our personalities. What we do with them can help to make each one of us motivated or deflated by the pressure that is invoked by the one person most needed to answer the call--yourself! What do you do with the drive that makes you want to be the best, or at the very least, better at everything you do is always a personal choice. Since you are human, the ability to change everything you dislike is always in the realm of your own grasp because all souls came into this life with the gift of free will.

While you may seem to think that you have to be the best at everything, many times you do better by not being in the vanguard. In other words, the pressure to be the best may not be what is in your best interests. At times, it may not be what is in the best interests of all the people you will be impacting by the way you handle your competitiveness. The teaching you do will be an amazing experience for all concerned. The world--the Creation--is such a dynamic piece of what shapes you, but also is helped to be shaped by your attitude and efforts.

We are not telling you not to strive to be the best. In fact, we are trying to share with you how to move from ordinary to extraordinary. No one has ever met a goal or succeeded at anything without having a competitive nature. Sometimes, that emotion can be so strong that it ends up impeding the natural flow of exceptionalism that is fused into each soul. Consider that the greatest and most revered, loving leaders of the world--from a religious or spiritual standpoint--were all people who seldom invoked a need to be bellicose or to want to step onto a platform or stage to get their words and passion across. They all had the need to share their views of love, passion, generosity, compassion, hope and faith.

In their own ways, each of them were healers. This is who you can become if you decide not to overcomplicate the urgency of your goals. While you can have that competitive drive, you still need to stay balanced in life by not stepping beyond the realms of reality or selfishness. Think about what you want out of life and then make a plan to improve yourself to get it. Do so knowing that the easiest way to arrive is to trust the balance of love that can be felt welling up within the life of your Inner Child. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
