The Spoken Words of Spirit--September 23, 2010

The epitome of love can be seen in your daily actions. It can be seen in your responses to people; in your ability to perform charitable contributions in either time or finances. Love can be seen in your smile, compassion and general appreciation of life. It is most noted in your beliefs in yourself, your Inner Child and the respect you give to God and the Kingdoms of Humanity, including the beauty of the animal and plant worlds. Love is all about respect!

When we refer to “respect” we are speaking in terms of how you act towards those who are closest to you as well. It is often overlooked that the people we should be showing the most respect to--family--are frequently the same people we take advantage of or show a lack of deference towards. This holds true in all relationships; husbands and wives, parent to child, child to parent, siblings, plus all other intimate relations.

That last example has opened a new door to what we are referring to. While the connections closest to you are vital to show love and respect to, all people you come in contact with should be treated in this manner. “An eye for an eye” does not necessarily reflect on acts of evil or poor judgment, but also is a reminder that you should give what you get. In other words, when you live in an aura of love and are cognizant of the superfluous blessings that abound, it is at that point that you leave yourself open to meeting or connecting with like-minded people. It is a gift! If you live life in anger and envy, then you surround yourselves with that instead. Let the soft cascade of angelic attitudes be your divining rod. For those of you who think you are too rugged to embrace this notion, we tell you to abide by the intent and fill in whatever descriptors make you happy. After all, the universe is infinite in its ways.

We would love for you to take a seven step approach. All we are requesting is that for the next week that you do a minimum of one good deed or act of kindness each day. You will infect others with your love, thereby creating an avalanche of similar actions from dozens of more. You will be responsible for making the world a more loving place to be! These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

Jennifer, thank you for commenting and becoming a "carrier of love."

Mary and Jim, the word was supposed to be Divining, not diving. I proofed the blog twice and then had to go back and edit it again.

Diane, thank you.

Yes! It's all about love and respect... That is what we all want :), so, the Golden rule goes into play: "Do unto others as we would have done unto ourselves".... My rule to live by every moment of every day!
So happy I found you!
I wrote a poem on Love in 2007 in a hospital bed. I have it on my lil website I playfully made: www.jenicombs.com

Thank you for you wisdom you so freely share Jim!!

Gratefully yours,
Jeni
