The Spoken Words of Spirit--January 25, 2011

Personal responsibility is something that all people need to understand. Whenever you are interacting with others, your decisions and choices will impact them. They also impact other people far beyond the two immediate parties. Perhaps the most important part of this message is to impart the awareness that your mistakes should not constitute the need for others to automatically rescue you. Paying attention to the aspects of your attitude and actions as though they were being perpetrated on you is frequently enough to get you to change your approach.

Whenever we look at life through the prism of the Golden Rule, we will find our actions taking shape with more clarity. Certainly, they will become more loving and respectful. It is all about how you would like to be treated. Your failure to do something should not be turned into the fault of someone else. Your inability to be responsible for your happiness does not automatically mean someone has to fix your mistakes or rescue you. God and the plethora of angels are always available to assist you. There will never be a time when abiding my the simple principles of spiritual philosophies will hurt you. Nor, will they ever hurt those around you. It is only your actions that create the reality of your life.

Think about what we are saying. If you choose to do the right thing all the time, then the right responses by others and the universe will come back. If you act unfairly, then that is the energy sent out to boomerang back. Why is this so important? When people are struggling, they tend to want to blame everyone around them for their misery. What ever happened to self-reliance? That is actually a bit of a misnomer. No one is ever alone. Your loved ones and teachers in spirit are always available. Human beings are by nature a very helpful, soulful set of creatures. You are innately wired to be happy and to grow in positive leaps and bounds. True appreciation for life will always surface for those who treat them well. You are a grand piece of a loving, earthly puzzle. Do everything in life with zest and invigoration! Live like you are happy! Live with the intent of being rewarded for the blessings of being YOU. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
