The Spoken Words of Spirit--February 5, 2009

Let us have a reunion of souls. It seems to us that people over complicate the simplicity of the power of attraction. If you place yourself amidst positive and spiritual people, then you attract more of those qualities in new acquaintances. Conversely, if you interact only with people who consistently look towards the darker side of life—negativity and pessimism—then all you will have incoming are more of those personalities, as well as more disruptions. Would you rather be with someone who is congenial, uplifting and helpful, or would you prefer to be with people who are mired in misery and continue to make the same mistakes over and over? It is as simple as “Good versus Bad.”

Now, if you are one of those people who may fall into the latter group, we ask if you want to be that way by choice or by alleged circumstances? Many of you would want everyone, including Spirit, to believe you are a victim of some ill-advised experiences growing up. Others would want to have the world believe that their lives turned into a permanently negative path because someone took advantage of you. In either case, you are wrong. There is always a new day to do things differently. You can choose to be a better person simply by accepting responsibility of your present, not your past. If you desire a future of many better days, then the first thing you must stop doing is feeling sorry for yourself. Make a change. Listen to people who are successful, regardless of whether or not that success is financial or spiritual. God and Spirit offer everyone help so you can belong to the club of optimistic thinkers. Are you ready to change your thought patterns so you can be a part of them? Think on this. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

I find this to be so true. Getting bogged down in all the negative only leads to more of the negative. I pray to stay in the Light amidst even the most trying of times. Right thought, right action. Smile more, be kind. Thank you for all the daily messages of hope. It is the way I start each day.

This message is for the front page of every newspaper! How true! This is why I cannot be around certain individuals or even TALK to them. Some people are so negative they drain the energy right out of you, like vampires! And then others, my friends are all about love and light and the willingness to help. They allow me to recharge.

Thanks Jim
