The Spoken Words of Spirit--August 3, 2012

Have you ever noticed that there are stretches of time in your life where the more diligent you are, the more it seems you fall behind? Being productive is always high on the list of anyone who wants to be or is currently successful. Yet it is also vitally potent for the average person to take some time for themselves to restrict a schedule that has them working full tilt without ever taking the time to honor their own needs. What we mean by this is quite simple. Sometimes it is more prudent to take a bit of time to relax so that you can have your body, mind and soul revitalized.

At some point, if you do not throttle down the pace at which you do things--provided of course you are someone who is always diligently working--then you may find yourself resenting the very things that you are doing to sustain the things you want in life. It is better to allow yourself to recoup your energy periodically. This can easily be done by reading a good book, going to the movies; out to dinner, or simply taking a walk or ride in the countryside. Whatever it is that you like to do to relax should be done. Perhaps you have not had time to go to the beach, take in a sporting event, or even visit family who are at a distance. Doing any of these quick examples will help to reload your vibration and attitude with the invigoration you need to pursue your dreams.

The art of relaxation can also come through meditative efforts. Anxieties will be tempered, as will much of your stress or, for some people, their depression. It allows those who financially strapped to have a bit of a mental vacation. Meditation can remove some of the blocks to your path of happiness by giving you answers that well up from the Child Within. It is also pertinent that you understand that to spend time doing this means you are cognizant of a need for self-appreciation, as well as the union that exists between you and your loved ones and angels in the Light.

Today, step aside from your routine if that routine is one of continually working or if you are feeling “burned out” or annoyed by what you are doing. Finding a path to relax is just as important as the means in which you are trying to earn your keep. Whether you are being burdened by a formal career or work schedule, or the overload is coming from your personal chores and responsibilities, you must find time to decompress. As we have noted before, even the Creator took off one day to replenish His energy. You have a relatively short time on earth, in the big picture of time and existence, so make sure you enjoy your journey! These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.
