The Spoken Words of Spirit--November 9, 2010

Comfort can be found in all facets of your life. This may come as a surprise to some of you; especially if you are struggling. All you need to do is to see the simple joys in what you have. It could come from a spouse’s smile, or child’s squeal. It may come from the family pet acknowledging you by exuberantly dancing around you for their food or a treat. Look outside and notice the beauty of a cardinal, or the breeze blowing through the leaves of trees and bushes. Comfort can be had when you realize that you were awoken with another chance to make a difference in your life, as well as in the lives of your family friends and others who you come in contact with.

Look at the human who is physically, mentally or emotionally challenged. Do they find great happiness in the simple things they can accomplish? Of course! You should be able to feel proud when you watch them perform even the seemingly easiest of tasks or challenges. Embrace this emotion when you see them take a step forward, for it is a leap ahead with God’s help. Comfort can be given to them when they feel like they are on stage and getting a standing ovation just for trying to un-wall themselves from the boundaries that they have to fight through everyday. You can enhance it by making them see how much peace and comfort they bring into your heart and soul.

Comfort can come easily when you abide by the principle of spirituality. Live your life with open eyes and an open mind. Being able to see all sides to a story is paramount to your well-being if you are to be a mediator between people and not a meddler. If not, you become one of those meddlers who end up causing unjust emotional pain to those closest to them, along with anyone who comes into their wake of wrongful thinking. Trust that the Kingdom has the answers for you. Trust that they can carry you to a level of tranquility and treasures when you seek harmony, and not antagonize or annoy what is already inflamed.

This world has a boundless supply of forgiveness. It has empathy and sympathy. Mostly, it holds hope and optimism for you to seize and place into your hearts and minds. Your mental approach to living is the leader in what will make you serene. By taking a cerebral view of life, rather than a reactionary one, your life will be wrapped in an extraordinary sea of love. All the issues that nag at you will dissipate. Communication is the catalyst for responsible actions and attitudes. Live with the mindset of gracefulness and gratefulness. It will only help you! These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

So important to be reminded of the everday blessings we are gifted. At times it is easy to get caught up in the drama that we see right past them.

Thanks as always to Jim and Spirit for you constant encouragement and guidance so that I can be a better person...OXOX
