The Spoken Words of Spirit--April 20, 2012

If you push yourself to always reach the outer limits of your ability, you will find out that you have even more ability to come. It places you in a position to be noticed in a good way by others; as someone who stands out in their efforts to always perform the right way. Whenever you stretch yourself beyond what society might consider “enough,” you are teaching the world that mere satisfaction has you missing out on some potentially great rewards if you go the extra mile.

Consider your life to be a house. If you build it with one room that is just big enough for you to sleep, cook and have bathroom amenities, then you can get by. On the other hand, when you start adding on rooms you will find that more life can be brought it. Relationships will have less stress and the rooms will give you an opportunity to have whatever you want. You could build a personal gym, a music studio, craft room, sauna, wine cellar, sports room, or even a kitchen that has all the gadgets imaginable in it. The point is that by always taking yourself a little further than you have to go, great things can come from it. Your appreciation of the efforts you have made are raised, thereby giving you more self-confidence.

The world around you will see you as a leader. They know you are someone who can be trusted to put the extra energy into all things. From a work or career standpoint, this will make you shine to your colleagues or bosses. If you have your own business, your clientele will have that same feeling and know that they are dealing with someone trustworthy. While it may tire you to do some things more than necessary, the perks received are well worth it.

The choice to grow is always yours. Would you like to be ordinary or extraordinary? Since most people do not go the extra mile, this will become a place for you to be the beneficiary of more blessings. Those on the God side of life reward people based on the positive actions and efforts they put out for themselves and others. Why not be the one who stands in the front of the line because you are living your life with such purity and production? Enjoy your journey! These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

I love the analogy of our life as a house---and adding on extra rooms. Diversify and expand; it definitely makes life so much more rewarding.

"The choice to grow is always yours."

Thank you Jim...beautiful lesson today! xoxo
