The Spoken Words of Spirit--September 15, 2012

Revising your thoughts is not always a bad thing to do. One of the greatest things about being the most intelligent species on the planet is that as you live and get to experience life. The very experience you gain will allow you to change your concepts of what you believe in and what works better for yourself. For example, you may have begun your life with staunch beliefs in one religion based on the church or building and philosophy your parents or guardians believed in. As you grew older, your own belief system and soul nudging may have shifted you to something far different.

The religious change was but one concept that may change in you. Revisions could very well take shape in your thoughts about nutrition, sports, residence, politics, animals, and so much more. Frequently, a particular incident may be the primary cause. You could have been someone who was an avid fan of economy cars until you were injured in one in an accident and found yourself feeling safer in a larger vehicle from then on. Similarly, you may have had an ideological viewpoint about an economic plan until you or someone else enacted it and you witnessed it turning into a complete disaster. That’s alright. You still have life and the time to reverse your philosophy to that of the “opposition,” finding out that they may have had it right all along.

Mistakes are a huge part of the growing process in all lives. While some withdraw and curl up from failure, others see it as a peg in their wall of lessons in what not to do for the next time they attempt their goal. Revising your life for the better is always smiled upon. However, those who look at terrible times and choices that they or others have made and then tell stories in the future with a revisionist spin have really not learned at all. The key to a content life is to make the changes and absorb the numerous blessings that are available in this universe. Allow its abundance to swell and overflow in your energy field and aura. Embrace the notion that failure is merely the precursor to changing your mind or revising the output and success you deem potent for a peaceful and loving future. These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

Thank you, Diane and Mary. I cannot express how much both of you mean to me in such different ways.
