The Spoken Words of Spirit--September 24, 2008

When you feel challenged, do you tend to withdraw, ignore and give up? Unfortunately, this is the typical response for most people. It is the leaders of the Universe who take the opposite approach. They do not let themselves become distracted, depressed or feel downtrodden. The difference between the two actions is paper thin. Those who give up simply don't realize it takes more effort to do so. Before you ask how that can be, let me say this to you. When you slip into emotions controlled by depression, everything becomes harder to do! Your body hurts, your mind is not sharp, and life seems to always be going against you. Because of that, decisions to control the "wreckage" you feel your life has become actually turn out to be much more frustrating and difficult. It can be a spiraling effect until you learn to pray and ask for guidance from God and Spirit. You feel as though you are compromised by asking either side of the divide for help, but Spirit has put many people and many "Laws of Attraction" at your disposal. The difference between the two types of attitudes activated under adversity is simple. Those who respond to challenges by acting as though it is an inconvenience, not the end of the world or the beginning of a trend, are the same people who abide by the Laws and actions I have stated are already at your beck and call. They simply expect things to improve. Today, what do you choose to do? Have you made up your mind to embrace failure and frustration, or have you decided that this is the perfect time to put in motion the pure and positive energies of Spirit?

Your words are incredibly inspirational in today's economic climate.

I also feel they are speaking directly to me. Someone in my family is truly grieving and I believe that her health issues are exacerbated by the depression. I truly want to help her, but I am at a loss.

Thank you. Life is about lifting each other up in times of need. You'll "know" what to do. Just trust the intuition.
