The Spoken Words of Spirit--February 18, 2009

Today is the midpoint of the week. It should be one that elevates your mood and gives you hope that you will have made it through another productive seven days. If you don’t feel like it has been productive, then you need to redouble your efforts to work with the principles and lessons that you will learn from Spirit. For most people, the weekend offers a chance to be more social, to do things that are more fun. Let everyday feel that way. Work, school and all other schedules do not interfere with your ability to be cheerful and to view the chance to do something nice for yourself.

Perhaps this message may not seem important enough, or spiritual enough, to fit in with everything else we have shared. The fact is it is just as powerful as all the others because it underlines the need for you to honor yourself. Without doing so, your life can become too stressed and boring for you to enjoy. We cannot relay strongly enough how pertinent it is for you to be relaxed in life. Your physical existence should bring many lessons to the soul. Why not look at the fact that enjoying your life instead of enduring it will bring you elation? Think about how differently you would see the world, your job, your family, and so forth if you were in a state of peace more frequently. Would your life feel easier? These are The Spoken Words of Spirit.

Such true words. Taking time off for you is equally as important as helping others. We need to regroup and regenerate in order to go on. This is really one of the more important messages that most of us need to hear again and again in order to keep grounded.

I have been told this by my friends many times... :-)
