What goals have you achieved since the first of the year? Do you still have your list? Were they ever put in black and white for you to view them? Consider this a friendly reminder that in order to achieve change you must first create the vehicle for it to happen. In this case, Spirit speaks to you about the simple use of pen and paper. Writing down what you want for yourself is the greatest way to receive it. By having the words in a place, it will then make you observe them, and the outcome is sent more clearly. Whether or not you actively pursue what needs to be done to land the happiness that you seek, subconsciously, the motivation is moving forward. I have a question regarding this part of the message. Spirit said that:

I try very hard to avoid negative people and not allow them to hold me back. But what if these people are, in fact, a part of your family and very toxic? How does that work? Or am I not understanding this part?
What is being said is that you need to truly and completely trust that the higher powers can help you. Many times, we put our personal interpretations as to what will or will not happen, but it is based from our emotions of the moment. It essence, what is being said is that if you put the problems in the hands of God and Spirit, the actions will unfold to what is necessary, but maybe not what you think, as well as how fast you think things should be resolved. Patience with yourself is vital here.

I do so want things to be right, and not allow bad people to do bad things to others. I have felt so powerless to stop it and I get so caught up in the "emotions of the moment" as you say. I want it to happen now, not later. I always thought I was such a patient person...but during this period of my life I just can;t fix it fast enough. I will trust the higher powers and just allow them to fix it. There have been some signs of hope in the the past few days. Thank you Jim.
